When you click N.O.S. Ing lookup, you should be able to pick the ingredient relevant to the UN number used. When you have a material that has 'N.O.S' on their Shipping Name, it is compliant to show which ingredient relates to/causes this.

For example: if I have UN 3082 (Environmentally hazardous substance, liquid, n.o.s*),  the ingredient that applies to this material's N.O.S ingredient should be ticked in the look up window.

DG Suggest

The system suggests DGC, PKG, SR based on classifications and physical properties of the material.

Backend rules and logic are set up in the program to "calculate" and "predict" the hazardous property of the material.

For instance, in this example, bisphenol contributes to the final classification of H411 in this case - Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effect, hence UN 3082 was chosen and thus the ingredient bisphenol is the one being ticked in the N.O.S. Ing look up.
