These are the Risk Assessment Settings attributes related user role. The domain administrator or sub-administrator sets up the user roles and privileges that enable the edition of risk assessments.

  • Access to UN tab (Dangerous Goods risk assessment mode)
  • Allow editing risk assessment with read only access

  • Manage user defined tasks


Below is a summary of the most common user privileges attributed to conducting a risk assessment.


1. Editing Risk Assessment for User with Read Access


When a user is assigned the privilege  "Edit Risk Assessment", enables to copy a risk assessment material from a folder with read only permission into a folder with read access and be able to conduct the risk assessment. If this user privilege is not assigned directly to a user or via a role, then that user can only review risk assessments. 


2. Copying Risk Assessment for User with Read Access Folder to Read-Write Folder


If the user has read-only access to a folder and also read-write access to another folder, this user can copy a risk assessment from the read-only folder into a read-write folder but cannot copy a risk assessment from a read-only folder into another read-only folder.


3. Access to select Risk Assessment Controls


Access to select RA controls  

This privilege provides users with the ability to use the risk assessment controls available in the Risk Assessment (COBRA/COSHH) module. This privilege needs to be assigned in conjunction with the following components to enable users to have access to select the material’s risk assessment controls.

 

  1. COBRA/COSHH product (module)
  2. View folder tree privilege
  3. Manage folders (optional) privilege - the user may have full edit rights to folder(s)
  4. Access to ILO privilege and/or Access to UN privilege
  5. Access to edit RA controls (must be permitted to edit risk assessment)
  6. Access to select RA controls
  7. May assign the privilege “Allow Editing RA with read-only access” if the user has read-only permission to folder content but needs to edit risk assessment
