In order to change the name of the material in a label, follow the steps below.


1. Open DGen Label module

2. Select the Gallery

3. Click on Default Label

4. Move mouse pointer towards the bottom right corner of the label thumbnail/picture to select the arrow on label pane to load the label template and the label editor



Note that you can open a user defined label template if it exists, otherwise, you will have to save the default label template first before continuing with editing the template. Ensure to give your edited template a new name if you adjust the default template.


5. Select the "Material Name" frame on the label template

6. Click on the "Edit" button on the template



The edit button will open a label editor option


7. Text editor loads settings. Select the "Materials Name" button from the Text Type field

8. Click "User Text" from the drop down list



9. Enter free text - this is name of the material you wish to appear when label is generated




10. Click save


11. Select the "Save Template text field" to enter user defined label template (will be saved in the user defined tab for later use

12. Select the "Save Template into DB to save the label template so that ti can be accessible in system and through the "User Defined Tab"

Display Label and Enter Your Material Name


a) Select the search icon  from the label main toolbar

b) Search for the material using the search panel in DGen module

c) Add to List



d) Select Gallery button from the main toolbar

e) Choose the "User Defined Tab"and identify your label template

f) Select the forward arrow on the thumbnail to load the label

g) Click on the Free text Material name field and click edit to type the new desired product name



h) Click the PRINT button on the top right corner of the label user interface



i) Select the Fill button from the "Filling Panel"



j) Click the "Save PDF" button from the Print options panel



k) Identify your Save location folder from your desktop and click save button
