The UN Dangerous Goods risk assessment mode contains the "Controls" button under the risk band column. When the "controls" button is switched on; the controls options are provided in a window to make the necessary selections to reduce the risk levels or minimise the risks.

Review PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Review PPE enables risk assessors to make changes to recommended PPE. Note that the PPE that are switched ON by default and have a small squared icon on top right corner of each PPE are Chemwatch recommended PPE. This can also be switched OFF and apply other type of PPE as user defined PPE.

Risk Rating = 2
Note that risk rating has been changed (recalculated based on compliance check switch and applied controls). The Compliance check switch affects the final risk assessment rating and the switch is turned on.
Controls when switched on affect the risk conclusion or risk rating/risk band value. The calculation of the risk band rating is dependent on the controls applied.
