Background Information on Risk Assessment Status with a Question Mark
Risk Assessment Chemical Status “before” Data Extraction
The chemical in the list will display hazard rating question mark before data extraction is conducted in the Manifest module. Note that it is possible to conduct data extraction in the Risk Assessment module at the Vendor SDS document level with a mouse right click from the chemical name listed.

Risk Assessment Chemical Status “after” Data Extraction in Manifest Module
If the materials that do not have Gold Data have been extracted in the Manifest module prior to the release update, this data will be automatically transposed to the Risk Assessment module for that chemical/product and will be designated with the Risk Assessment Status “Review Required”.
However, any data extracted in Manifest module for a specific material Vendor SDS, will automatically default to status "Assessment Required" in Risk Assessment module with the corresponding UGD data extracted (User Gold Data).
Data Preferences Settings for a Domain
Note that there are four types of domain settings (Force Gold, Force VGD, Prefer Gold, Prefer VGD) related to the use of classification data in the system. These settings will be set by Chemwatch in conjunction with the domain administrator (ADM). If unsure of the type of VGD that is applicable to your domain account, please contact customer service account manager at customerservice@chemwatch.net.
For background information, the table below provides a summary description of the various types of VDG attributes to settings and how it works in the system when searching and/or when chemical lists are displayed.
