1. Open Folders or Manifest module

2. Select a folder/store

3. Ensure that red flags are set up

Refer to the administrative manual on "how to set up red flags for materials" or send an email request to helpdesk@chemwatch.net for the administrator manual. 


Assumption

Note that at this step, it is presumed that "Red Flags" are assigned to the materials of interest and follow the next steps below.


4. Select the checkbox(es) for the materials that have red flags assigned from the materials list

5. Click on the "Report Generator" button from the top right corner of the user interface

6. Select the "OK" button to proceed with the default "Selected radio button" as the materials are already marked in step 5 above

7. The report generator panel display. Here, ensure that the following are selected as shown in the panel image below and consider the applicable country/language to reflect your jurisdiction;

8. Select the add icon  alongside the report field to create a report generator template for red flagged materials. This icon will open the Method Builder window where datapoints will be assigned to the report template.

9. Select the "Datapoint" button to load the "method Builder" window


10. Choose the following datapoints from the applicable directory fields as depicted in the table below.

Identification Material Name or Product Name and/or Preferred Name Name of the material or product or preferred name (user dependent) to be exported by this field name >click on the "Identification" directory node (select the forward arrow next to the directory to expand the directory in order to list the available datapoints
>select the respective field checkbox(es) for required data such as "MaterialName" or "Product Name" or "Preferred Name"

System Red Flag Red Flag is a feature used to flag out specific material(s) for defined purpose. This field will export the red flag  into the desired file format >click on the "System" directory node (select the forward arrow next to the the directory to expand the directory in order to list the available datapoints
>select the "RedFlag" field checkbox
=> notice that the selected field will listed on the right hand side panel
System Red Flag Text Red Flag Text is the data field that will export the actual information inserted on the "Red Flag filter panel. Note that this feature is an administrative setting.

>click on the "System" directory node (select the forward arrow next to the the directory to expand the directory in order to list the available datapoints
>select the "RedFlagText" field checkbox
=> notice that the selected field will listed on the right hand side panel

Manifest

Folders/Stores Name Folders/Store name is a data field that will export the actual name of the location folder or store from the current view of the foldr/store content where material(s) are selected from

>click on the "Manifest" directory node (select the forward arrow next to the the directory to expand the directory in order to list the available datapoints
>select the "Folders/Stores name" field checkbox
=> notice that the selected field will listed on the right hand side panel

11. Type the name of the report template in the report name text field. Note that this report template can be used for any folder/store that a user has access to view/edit.

12. Press the "Create Report" button save the template in the database.  



A message displays in the top middle of the user interface to confirm that the report is now saved.



13. Select the drop down arrow alongside the "Report" field and click on the name of the saved report from the list. The name of the report must appear in the report field.

14. Choose the appropriate format to export the data to, e.g., xlsx - excel format

15. Press the "Download" button to start exporting the data for all the selected fields into the appropriate file format.

16. Open the download file format "Report......" from the download desktop temporary bar
