There are a number of areas in the system that can be used to assign a preferred vendor to a material.


 The Tools Panel


This panel contains a number of features including preferred vendor. To use this feature to assign a preferred vendor, select a material mixture checkbox from the register of your inventory or folder and go to the tools panel and click on the preferred vendor option to assign a manufacturer/supplier.

The next step is dependent on the availability of a specific preferred vendor/supplier already added into the system by the administrator or users with permission to add them. In this worked example we will use an existing preferred vendor that has been already added in the system.

 

Save your record entry.

Click on the Labels button on the “SDS and Labels” panel.

Press the default tab from the label gallery to use any of the Chemwatch default labels. Make sure the label you select has the supplier details available in the label template to be able to render he preferred vendor details.

Hover mouser pointer towards the right corner of the thumbnail and press the forward arrow that pops up to load the selected label.


The preferred vendor details have been rendered into the selected label for my CREDO created mixture.
