User Logo Settings

The logo that will be used will have to be made available in the system first by the administrator of the program. The user logo can be uploaded in MSDS Settings/MSDS Logo tab. In this example, we will illustrate how to insert a user logo into a custom label.

Steps

1. Open DGEN module

2. Search for a material in full or own database. Note that in this example, the material list is retrieved from a folder/store.

3. Select the "Add To List" button alongside the material name to work with

4. Press the "Gallery" button from the label main toolbar

5. Select the User Defined Tab to choose the appropriate label from the list of label template thumbnails/sample pictures available

6. Hover your mouse towards the bottom right hand corner of the desired label template until a forward arrow displays and click on this arrow to load the label template

7. Select the "Graphic" button from the Tools

8. From the Graphic Settings panel, select the "Diamond Graphic UN" button and click on the User Logo settings option

9. Consider aligning the graphic (user logo) - left to right or top to bottom on the label template and also choose image number (default is set to all)

10. Consider editing the size, position, border or layer of the graphic or use the default settings. Note that the size and the position can be done manually once the frame field has been embedded onto the label template

11. Click the save button to insert the graphic- user logo (which will be drawn from the available logo uploaded in the system prior to custom label activity)

12. Drag the user logo frame field element to the appropriate position

13. Select the "Print" Button on the top right corner of the user interface

14. Click the Fill button. Note that the material name to be used is the one that was initially added to the element list prior to choosing label from gallery

15. Click on the "Save PDF" button to generate the file in PDSF format for future use. Possibly save it to your desktop or external drive/usb/disc.
