The user interface provide an (M)SDS and Labels, Emergency Panel which contains buttons that can be selected to activate the type of emergency report as shown on the image below. 


 Note that all Emergency Report depend on the avialability of a Gold (M)SDS. If a Chemwatch Gold (M)SDS is not authored, the emergency reports will not be available in the system for that specific material.

First Aid

» Displays First Aid information for the chemical in case of an emergency with specific remedies, such as Swallowing, Eye Contact, Skin.



Fire Fighting

» Fire Fighting report includes Chemical Name details (UN No, Hazchem Code, DG Class, Subsidiary Risk, Packing Group, Poisons Schedule, Immediate actions to be undertaken.



Spills

» Provides emergency responses to the type of Spill; Minor, Major, Land (Small, Medium) and a legend designated for more details and protective actions for a spill.



CHINA

» Provides Chemical Incidents Advisory report for a chemical. The CW designated codes are defined and can be used to generate an immediate response to an emergency such as Protective Clothing (002), Action (008). The Fire Brigades utilise this feature as part of their emergency response



Advice to Doctor

» Detailed advice (acute/chronic health effects) to a doctor with specific general and critical toxicity information for consideration, after exposure to a chemical. The doctor will use this information to apply the appropriate immediate remedy and/or diagnosis of the patient.



Environment

» Provides environmental data specific to the material 



PPE

» Provides personal protective equipment relevant to the use of material for risk prevention 



SOP

» Report for standard operating procedures for the material 



TOXICOLOGICAL

» Provides a report on most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed such as inhaled, ingestion, skin contact, eye, chronic, indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed and information on toxicological effects
